THE ADMISSION OF NEW STUDENT COOPERATION PROGRAM BETWEEN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG WITH INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN YANGON FOR MYANMAR CITIZEN FOR BACHELOR, MASTER AND DOCTORATE DEGREE PROGRAM IN 2019

Universitas Negeri Padang received the Student from Myanmar accordance to Memorandum of Understanding between Universitas Negeri Padang with Yangon KBRI, the following Number is 0009/DL/o1/2019/PEN/05 at Jan 25, 2019. This Program consists of Scholarship and Non-Scholarship Program. The major as follow:

  2. Graduated and Certified in Indonesian International School which managed by Indonesia Embassy in Yangon
  3. Able to speak English or Indonesian properly
  4. An Employee from Indonesia Company in Myanmar
  5. Health Certificate
  6. Passport and Residence Permit in Indonesia

  1. Myanmar Citizen
  2. Bachelor Degree Student
  3. Minimal Achievement Index 3.25 (range 0-4)
  4. Able to speak English or Indonesian properly
  5. Indonesian International School Teacher
  6. An Employee from Indonesia Company in Myanmar
  7. Health Certificate
  8. Passport and Residence Permit in Indonesia

  1. Doctorate Degree Program

  1. Myanmar Citizen
  2. Bachelor Degree Student
  3. Minimal Achievement Index 3.25 (range 0-4)
  4. Able to speak English or Indonesian properly

The Requirement of Full-Scholarship Program

  1. The scholarship will be given to Myanmar citizen who study at Universitas Negeri Padang.

  1. Myanmar citizen who wants to apply for a scholarship from Universitas Negeri Padang have to fulfill these requirement:

  1. Graduated and Teacher from Indonesia International School Yangon (IISY)
  2. An Employee from Indonesia Company in Myanmar
  3. The Teacher from Myanmar University and Employee’s Myanmar Government

  1. The Cost of Educational Subsidy in Accordance with the Magnitude of Educational Fee in Universitas Negeri Padang
  2. The Cost of Educational Equality of High School Level for Bachelor Degree (Matriculation) accordance to Universitas Negeri Padang
  3. The Cost of Living
  4. The Cost of KITAS or Study Permit (Accordance with Indonesian Immigration Standard)
  5. The Cost of One-time Yangon to Padang and Padang to Yangon Flight
  6. Accommodation Cost (Scholar’s Inn)
  7. The Cost of Thesis or Dissertation Research
  8. Health Insurance


The Requirements for Partial Scholarship Program

  1. Universitas Negeri Padang also received Student from Partial Scholarship Program; General Requirement is similar to Scholarship Program.

  2. The Cost of KITAS or Study Permit (Accordance with Indonesian Immigration Standard)
  3. Accommodation Cost (Scholar’s Inn)


    4. The Requirement for Non-Scholarship Program

    The Requirement for Independent Student Program is similar with Full Scholarship and Partial Scholarship Program but all of the Cost for Study in Universitas Negeri Padang will be handled by the Student itself.

    Procedure for Registration

    1. Pay the Registration Fee (Rp. 500.000,-) for non Scholarship program
    2. Upload High School Certificate for Bachelor Degree; Bachelor Degree Certificate for Master Degree; Master Degree Certificate for Doctorate Degree (together with English Translation where applicable)
    3. Upload Academic Transcripts (together with English Translation where applicable)
    4. Upload Photo (Color Background) maximum 200kb
    5. The Registration only at http://spmb.unp.ac.id/admission

    Student Candidate Selection Procedure

    The Selection will be held in portofolio test.

    Registration and Selection Schedule

    1. The Registration on June 24 until July 10, 2019
    2. Administrative Selection on 11 July until 12 July, 2019
    3. The Result of the Test on July 15, 2019
    4. Submitting the document on 16 July until 18 July, 2019
    5. Start to Study on 19 August, 2019
